Lewis Hamilton is not worried about missing out on a potential power unit upgrade before the end of the season because of his engine situation.Power unit failures in the opening rounds of the season caught up with Hamilton at the last round in Belgium as he exceeded his quota for certain components and was forced to take a grid penalty. In doing so, Hamilton stocked up on three fresh engines for the rest of the year, but because he is already over his quota for the season he would have to take another grid penalty if he wanted to benefit from an Mercedes engine upgrade expected in Japan. But despite the unusual situation, the championship leader is not worried the update will give teammate Nico Rosberg an advantage later in the season. No, Im happy with the phase that we have and Im happy to run that until the end of the year.dddddddddddd If theres an upgrade Im not bothered. I can win with the ones I have.Usually upgrades are reliability mostly, or if they arent its often small steps.Hamilton said he was pleased with the result in Belgium and is now looking forward to penalty-free racing for the rest of the year.It obviously was an important race for me and I got what I needed from it and more, he said. Its not done anything psychologically, its been a positive and Ive moved on from it. The penalties are done, the free weekend kind of thing for the opponent is past, and hopefully now I get to fight and its a race from here. ' ' '
