NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops said standout running back Samaje Perine will miss at least the next two games with a pulled muscle.Perine, a junior who has rushed for 475 yards and six touchdowns for No. 16 Oklahoma, was injured early in Saturdays 38-17 victory over Kansas State.Stoops said after the win that Perine could have finished the game, but on Monday he said Perine will be out at least two weeks, maybe three. Stoops said the Sooners want to make sure the injury heals properly.Perine will miss Saturdays game at Texas Tech and a home game against Kansas on Oct. 29.Joe Mixon, who has rushed for 476 yards and two touchdowns this season, will carry a bigger load for the Sooners, along with freshman Abdul Adams.
